About me

Ever since I was a little girl, I loved to read. Other kids would be riding their bike outside, or playing Super Mario, or building cities out of Lego. And yes, I did all those things too but chances are you would have found me curled up with a book in my hand. I'd often receive Indigo gift cards for my birthday or Christmas. Scholastic orders and book fairs were things I looked forward to. 

I have always had a lot in my life to be grateful for but my life has also been filled with a lot of loss. I lost my mom when I was only 18 to cancer. I lost my dad 6 months before my wedding. I've lost a grandpa, a grandma, and my father in-law. During all the hard moments in my life I turned to books. They are always there for me. They are a distraction. They are an escape to another world.  There is always a book to suit my mood. There is always a book to keep me company which is more than I can say about most of the humans in my life. I love reading and that won't ever change.
